For the unsung heroes, the everyday role models. From the album "Memoirs of Dayne Jordan". Produced by DJ Jazzy Jeff. The video features internet comedian Top Rope Zeus in a more serious role. Directed by Cristopher Schafer.
Directed by Cristopher Schafer, the visual follows Dayne through his experiences, in a dream-like state as he tries to decipher between the real and surreal occurring in his life at each moment, all the while, questioning the meaning behind it all. Executive produced by DJ Jazzy Jeff, the song narrates the visual while allowing the viewer to draw their own conclusion, and to wonder where this Journey will lead Dayne next.
Watch the official video for "In Progress" produced by DJ Jazzy Jeff x Daniel Crawford. Cristopher Schafer did an incredible job bringing the lyrics to life and visually capturing the emotion that was in the song itself. This is the first release off of the "Memoirs of Dayne Jordan" album. Enjoy!
This is an exciting time! 5 years after releasing my first project, touring, and building some of the most incredible relationships that anybody could ask for, it never gets old. I am well aware of how blessed I am and how rare the opportunities that I have been presented with are. I often reflect on how far I've came and it never fails to amaze me when I look back on my journey. I can't wait to share it all with you on July 21, 2015. Until then enjoy the first official release from my album "Memoirs of Dayne Jordan" prod. by DJ Jazzy Jeff X Daniel Crawford titled "In Progress!"
We had the pleasure of performing at the 2015 River Festival in Wichita, Kansas. This was a good change up from our normal schedule. It was a family event so where Jeff was able to go with his set was a trip in itself. It is always amazing to see him play for large groups of people of all ages and nationalities. The smiles on their faces when he finishes are priceless. Mayer Hawthorne closed out the night with an incredible set as well!

It was an honor to play the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrisson, Colorodo alongside Ex Mag, The Motet, & Lettuce last night. It was completly sold out and everyone that attended came out with a purpose. They wanted to have a good time. Simple.
The Vinyl Destination 2015 Euro spring tour has officially kicked off! We are only 3 shows deep and everynight has been an experience in itself. Good eats. Safe travels. Great crowds. Jeff digging for 45's on record store day. Prhyme (Royce da 5'9 & DJ Premier) killing it in Manchester, United Kingdom. Jeff doing a full set on vinyl (historic to say the least). It keeps getting better! I'll keep you posted as the tour goes along. Until then... "LOOK4DALOGO"

We had a great time in Phoenix, AZ for the RedBull 3Style US finals. I'm excited to see what all of the DJ'S will bring to the table in Tokyo for the World Finals. Congratulations @djjespinosa
Beyond Wonderland is a festival that takes place in San Bernardino, California. It mainly consists of Electronic Dance Music but this year Insomniac (the coordinators) decided to include a funk and soul tent. I personally think that it helped to create and add a great balance to the entire experience. Imagine people ranging between the ages of 18-25 dancing all day, non stop, and having the opportunity to see/hear some of the world's greatest DJ's in their element. The line up consisted of The World Famous Beat Junkies, Graham Funke, DJ Jazzy Jeff, & Z Trip just to name a few. I'm looking forward to playing a few more festivals later this year! One word that would sum it all up would be ENERGY!
Finally! I haven't been in LA since my 21st birthday so today was highly anticipated. Of course the first stop had to be Roscoe's chicken and waffles. It was exactly what I remember too. Tomorrow we'll be performing at the Beyond Wonderland Festival. That's going to be crazy.
Simple... Great seafood. Great weather. Great show with great people. Thank you Shephard's Beach Resort! #VinylDestination #InProgress #Look4DaLogo

Yesterday we had the opportunity to play at a venue that was not far from our home town. While heading toward the stage, we were upset that we didn't know that this place existed. "Tellus 360" is hands down one of my favorite venues on the east coast. The vibe of the greenroom alone set the tone for what was nothing short of a great night (and the bathroom had a dope sink). The energy that the crowd had only put the icing on the cake. I can't wait for us to play there again. Big S/O to Cosmo Baker, MC Elixr, and DJ EDGE for allowing us to share that experience with them. #VinylDestination #GOMS #InProgress #Look4DaLogo

Between the off time that we had in San Francisco yesterday and arriving in Miami this morning my "imagination" is at an all time high! Anything is possible. Make room for your visions. And then simply execute them. You are unstoppable. #TRUTH
Feb. 28, 2015 I had the opportunity to host the "Philly Loves J Dilla" tribute show (coordinated by Flygirrl x gL Productions). To say the least, it was unbelievable. It's something special about when groups of people come together to hear good music. I have to admit that I was late when it came to Dilla. Fortunately, I am surrounded by a group of people who knew Dilla personally and also a lot of people that consider themselves "day 1" Jay Dee fans. The common thread between them all is that they only have great things to say about him. The level of passion that people have for him not only as a producer but as a person is something that I rarely see or hear. It was an honor and pleasure to be apart of that celebration. The morning after the show Jeff listened to the mix from the event and decided that he wanted to share it with you all. With that being said... Enjoy!

I haven't been able to post anywhere near as often as I would like too. When we decided to relaunch the site I was extremely excited about blogging again. Fortunately, time hasn't permit me to put the amount of focus into it that it needs. It's definitely a job in itself. So instead I have decided to tastefully post things when I can. To all of the day 1 supporters and those that have recently found out about what we are doing thanks for your continued support and you patience. We have a long way to go but I can honestly say that things are looking up. 2014 was filled with a ton of blessings and 2015 looks even more promising! Special thanks to my inner circle for without them none of this would be possible. You all keep me grounded and inspired to do bigger and better things. "Look4DaLogo"
